mitools software package provides view, convert and perform basic maths with medical image datasets, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install mitools
mitools is installed in your system.
Make ensure the mitools package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep mitools *
You will get with mitools package name, version, architecture and description in a table
